They loved and were loved
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
April 18th 1972
On that fateful day the passengers booked onto flight EC720 boarded the East African Airways Super VC10. The flight was scheduled to fly from Addis to Rome and then on to London having started its journey in Nairobi. The passengers came from many different walks for life. Many were school children returning to boarding school in the UK. Some were parents who were leaving Africa for the first time to visit relatives in Europe. Others were travelling on business or holiday. Of course there was also the flight and cabin crew.
